Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
~Proverbs 3:5-6
Hello, Beloved Family, Friends, and Prayer Warriors!
First, we would like to apologize for our lack of communication over the past few weeks. We love each of you and covet your prayers.
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. ~1 Peter 5:8
The past few weeks have been very difficult for our family. Due to issues that we WERE having in our marriage, we sadly turned in our resignation to IMB Connecting, and on October 19, we returned to the USA.
At this time, we are seeking God’s face for insight into our future. Putting Him first, He is showing us His unconditional love and directing our paths on how to make our marriage and family unity stronger.
The children have almost completed their second week of school at a private Christian academy in our town. Through family and our friends at the school, God has blessed our children with a seemingly smooth transition during a very bumpy and unexpected journey back to the States.
We hope that you will continue to bathe our family in prayer daily:
- Marriage
- Family
- Children (school, friends, routines)
- Transitioning back to the States (home, need for jobs, etc.)
Also, please don’t forget to pray for our Peruvian friends and family’s needs (IMB teams, villagers, students, and interpreters)—spiritual, emotional, and physical.
Thanks so much for your support and prayers!!
We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped.
Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
~Psalm 124:7-8
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not grow faint.
~Isaiah 40:28-31
