The Message Tonight Was Powerful

Tonight's study of Revelation came from Chapter 2. We took a look at Smyrna. The Believer's persecution brought back memories to my journey this summer. We do not face anything like that here. We complain and bicker, and we dawdle and get lazy when we should open our eyes and realize how blessed we are to live in a country that is free. Are we telling people about our God and what the Bible says it takes to go to heaven to be with our Maker?! Are we living and serving our Abba??

This week, I feel like I am on a roller coaster....up one minute...down another. So many thoughts are running through my mind. Excitement, sadness, fear of the unknown. At the end of our lesson, He stated to not be afraid because a victor's crown will be waiting at the end.

I am trying to focus moment by moment, but I feel myself wanting to peek into tomorrow. God is already ahead of us. He is taking care of everything; I just need to stay in His footsteps and surrender myself to Him moment by moment again and again. I do not need to worry about tomorrow, but focus on Him, who is taking care of today.
